My favorite place in South Florida for the Saturday/Sunday morning donut run!!! This place is a throwback to neighborhood donut shops before the age of corporate chains and assembly line food. All the donuts are made fresh daily in their full service bakery, and the variety of donut styles/flavors is vast. They have a full sized dining room and several bar stool seats, along with a full breakfast and lunch menu for those who carry an appetite for savory breakfast and lunch fare beyond donuts. They will even make specific donuts to order for you if you call ahead(not sure of the lead time needed for special orders, call and ask). They service is excellent, and the staff are upbeat and cheerful. There's also an order/pickup window in the front, for those in a hurry for coffee and a donut on the run, that want to avoid the rush at the inside counter. All of that said, Hollywood Donut Factory is a diamond in the rough in an industry that's been steadily declining for as long as I can remember. They stand head and shoulders above local competition in the area, and every trip I take there is a sweet, delicious, nostalgic adventure down memory lane, to a time when the Saturday morning do

I stopped by The Hollywood Donut Factory one morning because I was craving something sweet and wanted to bring a few donuts home. I picked out a small variety instead of getting the same kind, mostly because I wanted to try different flavors. The donuts looked fresh and were a lot more tempting in person than I expected. I brought them home and shared them with my family over coffee. Everyone ended up having a different favorite, which made it fun to compare them. It was a simple purchase, but the donuts definitely hit the spot and satisfied the craving I had that morning.

I’ve been there a few times. I used to get tasty coffee and huge donuts. Today, I bought some disgusting coffee con leche. My stomach hurts terribly, and I feel nauseous.

Such a surprising experience. The customer service was incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, we ordered 3 donuts and the an omelette with coffee - so reasonably priced for the portion sizes! Honestly just popped in to pickup a donut and immediately had to sit down & stay for more! 5 stars

It's not a huge place but more room than one would expect judging from the outside. A family feel or even like a neighborhood bar . The staff inviting. The food selection pretty big. However the best part are the donuts after all as a quote on the wall says " the donuts are the stars". That's the truth. Homemade, huge, tasty and the largest selection of flavors I have ever seen . If you are visiting from out of town or a local who's never been you will do yourself a favor by stopping in. Don't be surprised if your table gets a visit from the owner, Kat
